Lake Ukiel

Lake Ukiel (also called Krzywe) is the largest and deepest lake located within the administrative boundaries of Olsztyn. It consists of 4 bays connected by straits, and the diverse coastline means that everyone can find their dream holiday destination. Ukiel for Olsztyn is the same as the Baltic Sea for Sopot. It is on its shores that a beautiful sandy city beach has been created, which, in fact, is the summer centre of the city, where the paths of both tourists and locals meet. However, there are several other lakes within Olsztyn, but none of them are as popular as Ukiel.
